LENTEN WEDNESDAY CLASSES

Lenten Wednesdays at Saint Anne's will include offerings for all ages!

Cooking Through Lent:  Especially for kids and youth.  Enjoy cooking some traditional foods of Lent including pretzels, hot cross buns, and "empty tomb" treats.  Led by various Saint Annians.

The Creating Spirit: In our Great Story, God's first actions are to create and to find joy in the creating.  With a spark of the Divine in each of us, we too are born to find joy in creating.  Come try out some different creative opportunities to see what sparks your joy.  Activities will include drumming, painting, needlework, and printmaking, led by various Saint Annians.  NOTE: No special skills required!  This will be a no judgement zone!  AND check out this article about art and stress levels.  Wednesday nights are going to be a win-win.

Exploring Faith Through the Lens of Sara Miles:  Author Sara Miles came to Christianity as an adult, after being raised as an atheist.  She has written openly about her learning, struggles, and mysterious draw to Christianity and the Episcopal Church which came upon her unexpectedly after stumbling into a church one day and being offering bread and wine. These Wednesday evening offerings will be group discussion and exploration that center around 5 short videos Sara put out on the topics of Ash Wednesday, Communion, Healing, Prayer, and what it means to be a Christian in today's world.
